Hair Cutting Techniques

Hair cutting is an art form and not a right or wrong way to achieve a good hair cut. Each of these approaches will vary by stylists. But there are some basic principles that all barbers and stylists can implement to improve the speed and quality when cutting men's hair. Good technical skills will also help increase client retention your man.
Wet or dry?

Cutting using the clipper is almost always done best in dry hair. When hair is wet, it will be difficult to see the line and it is difficult to know exactly how the hair would lie when cut. Hair must be wet for the "most shear" or razor.

Re-examine

When doing a haircut, a re-examination or cross check is important. For some people, this may seem like an unnecessary step, but it is important to ensure the cut is even and proportionate.

When doing a short haircut, check the mixing and tapered in the mirror (or backwards a few meters). Often, you can see something from a distance that you will lose close. Also, be sure to have the right lighting from all angles. Dim light and shadow makes it very difficult to check the quality of the cut.

Shearing tools and techniques

There are several tools used to shave your hair to be short. Each device uses a particular technique and produce a different outcome. Such methods include:
Anchor-Pivot-Suspend, Clipper-Over-comb, Blending Shears and Razor Haircutting.

Texturizing

A razor (with safety) or shear point techniques can be used to give texture haircut by cutting off the ends of hair with varying length. The desired texture in prickly rambutbisa pieces / spikes or it could be messy.

Razor (with safety) is used to strip the hair ends between the blade and the thumb to create a variety of lengths. When pulling the hair between the razor and thumb, holding the knife at an angle and using a scooping motion.

Shear-point technique is used to cut the ends of the hair at an angle (or even pieces of pieces alternately) for added texture. Perform this technique only after hands-on instruction from a qualified instructor.

Finishing

Many stylists will spend a lot of time to make sure the results of his hair cut flat and perfect. A great haircut can be ruined by poor finishing. Conversely, a bad haircut can also be made cool with a good finish).

It is important to make sure all the lines (curved around the ears and neck) were clean and tidy. Most haircuts will also benefit from a little tapering or beveling around the bottom edge. Check to make sure the straight bangs as well.
